Im sure everyone must have felt like this pain one way or another. And im sure there are some who have overcomed this. Please share how do you deal with this problem. Thank you

What is in your heart reveals what you really believe. Proverbs 23:7 says "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." and 27:19 says "As in water face reflects face, so a man's heart reveals the man." Jeremiah 17:9 says "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind. Even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings."
God knows your heart better than you do. The Bible tells us not to be 'hard of heart'. That means don't turn a deaf ear to what God tries to teach you , whether in the Bible, through other Christians, church, etc. He can change your heart and give you new and right desires, (a 'new' heart-for right things-the things that please God.)
Prayer and Bible study are the way to find direction and strength to know what to do and have the ability to do them.

I prefer to think the first instinct is usually the correct one. I think it's similar to "look deep inside your heart". Discovering your identity and learning to accept yourself for who you are and love yourself in the process, is a journey we all have to take. Don't worry - you'll get through it like the millions of people before you did. The pain lessens with age. Things get a lot better once you hit your mid-twenties. You'll see.

People you heard are wrong. The heart is deceitful and wicked according to God's Word. That's why we have the Bible for direction on spiritual matters. The heart tends to be governed by emotions, not logic. That's why you have so many people that do not tell the truth to sinners.
