Yes, Jesus disciples were mainly Jews, until the Gentile believers became more numerous by the gospel being spread by Paul and others.

Yes, they go just like all Christians go - in believing and receiving and living in Christ's Name for the salvation of their souls. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes unto the Father but through me.

wow. these questions really bring out the beast in christians. they are so convinced their way is the only way that is worthwhile. so many of these answers coming from christians totally discount the value of anyone, jewish or otherwise,who is a really good person. God won't let me in because I believe something else? Do people really believe any of this hooey? I guess so, because somebody has to be paying for all those huge churches they build to praise their god in while children are starving all over the world. they take up collections and send packages to the poor. big whopping deal. christian churches send only a pittance and spend the bulk of their money on huge church complexes and stadiums to worship in. i worship in my backyard. i give aid to my neighbors. if all the christians did that, just that, we could all end hynger. but these 'wonderful' people are too busy hating and pushing other people around in the name of God to see they have been scammed. my heaven is here.

Race is not a determining factor as to who gets into heaven. The Jews face the same problem that Americans face. We are all totally depraved sinners, not good people that mess up sometimes. We will all face God on judgment day and give an account. The only way that a Jew, you, or myself have of avoiding hell is through the sacrifice Jesus made on the Cross. We all commanded to repent and turn to Christ. That is the requirement for anyone that wants to go to heaven.

How can a bible-believer come to terms with Jewish people being "the chosen ones", and then think they may not go to heaven if they do not accept Jesus as a part of "the Trinity"?

Have any of you bothered to study what Jewish people believe? Or have you blindly accepted that you are supposed to be "grafted" into the Jewish nation through your religious beliefs that "the chosen ones" don't even share?

If you were a GOD, would you make one people "CHOSEN" over all others? Do you see any fallacy here?

There is one reason and one reason only for going to heaven and that is the shed blood of Jesus, if a person does not believe and receive the shed blood of Jesus THEY WILL NOT GO TO HEAVEN.

"Without the shedding of blood there is NO remission of sin"

NOTHING ELSE MATTERS, HOW GOOD YOU ARE IF YOUR JEWISH, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS ONLY THE BLOOD.

When the death angel came into egypt the only thing that mattered was if you were in a house that had the blood on the door post, that was an example of salvation. the blood covers our sin without the blood you are eternally lost.

They go to the land of unending pickled herring and corned beef on rye ( no mayo). Jesus went to heaven because his was a rabbi and observed the old testament laws. So did his followers until after his death, they started inventing a new religion instead of the one he followed.

God is the only one who makes that decision. But I will say that its a common misception that Jesus was Jewish, He was raised Jewish but in His ministry He spoke against Jewish traditions and customs so I cannot see how He was Jewish. And most of His disciples were not religious ppl at all, most of them were fisherman and social outcasts.

Sure, if they believe in the Messiah that their own God said that He would send to them. You know, this one:
Psalm 22:16 Dogs have surrounded me;
a band of evil men has encircled me,
they have pierced my hands and my feet.

17 I can count all my bones;
people stare and gloat over me.

18 They divide my garments among them
and cast lots for my clothing.

You know, that happened to Jesus.

And also this:
Isaiah 53:3 He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

You know, all that happen to Jesus too!

And then there is the future:
Zechariah 12:10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

That's God's Son, who should be worshipped,
Psalm 45:2 You are the most excellent of men
and your lips have been anointed with grace,
since God has blessed you forever.

3 Gird your sword upon your side, O mighty one;
clothe yourself with splendor and majesty.

4 In your majesty ride forth victoriously
in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness;
let your right hand display awesome deeds.

5 Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king's enemies;
let the nations fall beneath your feet.

6 Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.

Convinced yet?

He said the the Jews would become jealous of a people who didn't even seek Him:
Deuteronomy 32:18 You deserted the Rock, who fathered you;
you forgot the God who gave you birth.

19 The LORD saw this and rejected them
because he was angered by his sons and daughters.

20 "I will hide my face from them," he said,
"and see what their end will be;
for they are a perverse generation,
children who are unfaithful.

So, you have the choice as do we all. I am not above you. I like the Jews. We have a future together. But the fact of being a Jew is not enough. God wants those that believe Him.

Galatians 3: 26-29
26 For you are all children[m] of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.[n] 28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile,[o] slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children[p] of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

The Bible said anyone, Jew or Gentile, who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, will go to Heaven.
