Being an agnostic/borderline-atheist I do not believe in any god(s) that reign over us, but for those of you who do believe in a god..(or those who don't & wish to interject their opinions)... I pose this question.

Do you think your god would be more pleased with all of his "children" at war & fighting over him/her/it? Or do you believe that god would be happier knowing that his children had learned to live in peace even if it meant sacrificing his worship? In other words.... don't you think god would be happier with all of his creations at peace with one another as opposed to him desiring that all worship him while wars wage on about it?

In my personal opinion, if this god is as "all-loving" as most claim.... surely he would rather sacrifice his image to let his "children" peacefully share & enjoy the world and learn to better themselves as a society instead of bettering themselves individually.

What are your thoughts?

Wow, that's an embarassing typo. The question should be what would please GOD more, not "got." LOL My mistake.

I'm asking for personal opinion here.... not scriptures or parables. I want to know what Y!A people think, i don't want to know what a 2000 year old book says everyone should think.

Someone please give me their own opinions here. Quoting scripture requires no thought process. I want some personal feelings here. not cold quotes.

Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
If you would research your own Idea's about God you'd find out answers to questions that you may not want to hear also. Gods way of love if you give it careful consideration is for all to have peace. I have a parable for you and this may help you to understand how we should act in our belief with God.

A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves? This is how all should act. Wouldn't you agree. Thank you for taking the time for me to answer and for you to read. I appreciate your question. These are my thoughts as well.

What would please GOD is for us to know our true purpose for coming to earth and completing it.
