So I've been seeing this guy for awhile now and we have been somewhat intimate with each other and we admit we're not intimate with anyone else. However he knows I want to be his girlfriend but he says he is not ready for the committment (he's been cheated on by his last girlfriend, and he's still bitter because he's still in love with the ideal). But he says, if he were ready I would definitely be his girlfriend. He also thinks I play most of the time but he wanted to have sex at one point but I didn't let him and now he says he never wanted to. At some points I just think he's trying not to get hurt again at other I'm just plain confused lol and now it's really starting to hurt me.

ok this is easy hun, its like when a girll has being cheated, how would she feel? well men also feel that way and its hard sometimes to get rid of that bad experience, in the other hand, u should be aware that he doesnt want u for a one night stand or something like that so think about it, and dont hurt urself hun, ur worth a lot and desrve respect

I can understand hes not wanting to get hurt.. but u gotta constantly tell him ur not that other girl that did that to him you are YOU and ur nothing like her.... its not in ur personality to cheat.... just give him some time and tell him shes living her life without him and he needs to start living his without her... and ur the girl that will help him forget her and to show him there are good women out there....

if you are exclusive, then how are you not his girlfriend? i mean if neither one of you are seeing any one else then you are his friend & your a girl so is it the title "girlfriend" bugging you?
