I will wish you good luck and tell you to burn sage inside before you move in- my native american friend says it cleans out the bad energy and any lingering spirits- don't know that I believe it but it smells good and what can it hurt right?

Sure, I'll wish you luck, but that is as much spiritual energy you'll get from me. Not that I wish ill either, but from what I can tell, people have been moving their households pretty OK so far without Divine intervention or help :)
If your interested in Druidry- try something from their tradition.
My personal take is to first see what kind of energy or non-ordinary critters and protectors are there first. Banishing is not always the cure all. Personally, I don't want to banish just anything and everything. Only if something proves to actually be threatening.
I actually find regular (mundane) cleaning to be the best way to clear out energy from the previous human residents though. It usually works just fine.
If you still feel spiritually vulnerable in your new home, or just want it 'blessed' for your own inhabitation- imbuing it with your own energy, invoking your own protectors (whatever form they may be in) and setting up your own wards around doors & windows is handy. And yeah, a party inviting all your friends (or new neighbors) and getting them to bring beer and presents is pretty cool too.
It is amazing how many mundane actions easily accomplish what an ornate ritual could do to. It is awareness and intent that count- not elaboration. Save that for the really big things.

Light some sage incense and walk through the apartment asking that all anger, hatred and other negative energies be dissolved from the space and ask that they were replaced with happiness, light, prosperity health and love. Sage is a good energy cleanser. Also, you could place a little Ganesh statue at the entrance of the home as a symbol of removing obstacles (or anywhere in the apartment for that matter). Light a candle when you are settled and om 3 sometimes ending with Shanti......many blessings in your new home. Then have a beer, spin around three times and go woo-hoo then sit down and enjoy the new digs!

All three! :) Good luck with your new place and I certainly pray that it goes well and smoothly with no delays, losses, or breakage. The actual moving part is always so much fun. And I always suggest doing a home cleansing when you first move into a place. I don't know about you, but I can't live with previous tenant/owner funk in my space. So I usually do a smudging ritual where I open all the doors and windows, burn sage in every room, and ask deity (any deity of choice) to bless and clear the space. :)

Good morning, Sean. I will wish you good luck, pray that it goes smoothly and easily and offer a blessing (pagan of course) upon your new home. Gotta get it ALL in...lol
Oh god, I just realized, did I just do like a Paschal's wager thing? I'm cursed!
Really good "house blessings" in a book called "Household Magick" by Scott Cunningham.
Best of Luck!

I wish you luck and will say a prayer that the move goes quickly, smoothly and that you and your family is blessed (read as: may many great things happen) in this next adventure in your life. I'd suggest some ritual too, if i knew one.

Hey Sean good luck with the move and I hope everything goes well. I suggest you save some energy for the move as it's a very tiring process. Congratulations.

Good luck, my boy! You may want to toast the new apartment with some homemade beer, following a native american "smudge" where you bless the house with a smoking sage stick... it's a fun and refreshing ritual.

I will pray for you! May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and your home and may you come to know Him. You may want to examine the Celtic roots of the Christian faith in the Brittish isles. The Celtic bishops were converted druids, so I'm sure you will find some fascinating things in their teachings. I personally have some major disagreements with the Celtic church; however, I trust the Lord to guide and lead you so I am comfortable recommending you check them out.
God bless your journey to Him, and beware the hierarchy inherant in any church - 'tis one of my major beefs. But the Lord will help you sort it out.

Before I move in, while the apartment/house is still empty I go in and pray.
I ask God to bless my home. I ask Him to bless my finances so I can continue to pay for the home He's blessed me with. I ask Him to rid it of any unclean spirits that may be there. I ask that everything be in working order and/or easily fixable. I thank Him for helping me find a place to live. I also ask that He protect me and my family.
Once I'm done praying I start moving in!! Everything is wonderful except that a lizard got in. I am currently praying for the lizard's speedy exit LOL.
Peace and Blessings!!
