I am currently running vista business, but awhile back i watched a demonstration video of vista and in the video the guy used flip 3d but then he was able to rotate one of the windows and on the back of the window was a notepad like sheet that he was able to write on and then he just rotated the window back to normal. I know how to access flip 3d but i wasnt sure if anyone else has seen this rotation feature or if it exist anymore.

You must have a good enough system capapable of running Windows Aero, it exists.

Minimum system requirements:

* 1 gigabyte of system memory
* a DirectX 9 compatible graphics processor, with a Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) driver, and a minimum of 64 MB of Video RAM

3D flip is easy and obvious, as you said. But I've never heard nor seen any demonstration of this rotation you mentioned. And I'm perhaps the biggest Microsoft fan on God's-green-earth. I jump on every new feature as soon as the beta comes out...but I've never heard of a rotation function.

I'm running Vista Ultimate on my Intel Core 2 Duo machine, and it works great. I installed the RC2 Beta last November, and I never had a problem. I then installed the official Ultimate the day it was released, and I still have never had any issues. So I don't know why all these other answerers keep knocking it. I guess they don't realize that NOT EVERY computer issue is due to an "Operating System Bug". In fact, the VAST majority of issues nowadays are due to hardware or 3rd-party software bugs.

(Also: For the girl who said she's still using Windows 98, check out my most recent question I asked. Windows 98 is my favorite Windows release, next to Vista. I loved 98 to death, and I think it's great you're still using it!)
