My 3 roommates (we are all girls) stay up late to do homework while I go to bed early. They say they are disgusted every night after I fall asleep because I snore very loud with my mouth wide open, and I drool. They say they are extremely grossed out seeing lots of drool come out of my wide open mouth and hearing my loud snoring and have asked me to move. I think they should just deal with it. What do you think ladies, would you be grossed out?

Well, if it's causing a serious disturbance maybe you should see a doctor about it, look into anything you can find that would help quiet the snoring. Now if it were a softer snore, that someone in the room could hear, but not -outside- the room, I'd say, eh, you get used to it, but if it's a wall-penetrating snore.. sounds like you might wanna get that checked out.

Sounds to me like you're getting some real good sleep. Nothing feels better than a night of good snoring and drooling. Is it disgusting? Yeah, but who cares when you're sleeping? Most sleeping adults aren't too pretty to look at; only babies are cute when they're asleep. If your significant other can't handle it, then there's always the couch...

No...tell them to get ear plugs and keep studying (if that is what they are doing.) I would be more concerned about you and your health. I used to do the very same thing. Also, I would sometimes have delayed breathing. Discovered I have sleep apnea. I now use a cpap for breathing and I am so much more awake during the day because I sleep so much better at night. I discovered also that I actually stay in one position all night. I have become so much more alert and attentive I have surprised everyone. Good Luck. Ignore the ignorance and offer to pay for their earplugs since they are so cheap.

They might be surprised at what they do while asleep. Get new roomates & get an apartment with your own bedrooms. If the snoring thing is still a problem to YOU, you can do a sleep study, you may have sleep apnea and it can be treated.

I think it is cute LOL. My little sister does the same thing I have pictures of her sleeping and I make scrape books with them. I think anyone who does that in they're sleep is cute LOL
Tell your friends to get over it.

OKAY, MOST PEOPLE SLEEP OPEN MOUTHED AND OFTEN PEOPLE DROLE.

IF THE SNORING IS TWO LOUD YOU MAY HAVE SLEEP APNEA AND REQUIRE A CPAP MACHINE.

how the f*** do these girls get any studying done if they sit and stare at you drooling?? Wierd.

don't fret. you can't help it and there's nothing wrong with you. i hope they don't really make you feel bad?? That would be really lame and mean.

Better sleep in a separate room .
Also seek medical help if any.
Have sympathy for your room mates.
