The 4 lines are under the tool bar. I can't find how to delete it and copy and paste is't working because it takes out all of my formulas and I still see the email stuff. Thanks for any advice.

When you were trying to send it you hit 'Send to Mail Recipient" and not "Send to Mail Recipient (as attachment)" To rid yourself of the lines simply open the sheet. Go to "File:Send To" and click again on the "Send to Mail Recipient" the email format should go away.

Have you tried clicking and dragging on the Row headings? The very first column in Excel that lists 1, 2, 3, 4...?

You should be able to click on the "1" and drag down to the "4". The row headings for rows 1 thru 4 will turn black.

Then right-click and select Delete to delete the actual rows and their contents, or select Clear Contents to keep the rows in place, but to empty them.

Well while in high school i took a computer literacy class and i did study excel. the way to delete those 4 lines is by highlighting the 4 lines and pressing the DELETE key.

Just click on the number of the line at left (right click and delete) If the rows are not there, it should not change your formulas.

e-mail me a copy if you want and i'll see what can be done.

Can't you just highlight those four rows and select Delete > Rows from the menubar?
