yes that is correct, because Eddie griffin crashed a Ferrari is why there are no black drivers in NASCAR!!

Although a funny incident, this is not the reason why nascar doesn't seem to have many black drivers. They have had black drivers ( like Bill Lester) in the past and are trying to bring up black drivers through the ranks of dirt track, north/south and busch.
Bear in mind that nascar only qualifies 42 drivers for each nextel cup race and there are probably 5-10 more drivers who don't qualify but consider themselves nextel cup drivers the current field of "professional Nextel Cup racers" is only about 50 people. This is very small compared to other sports like football (28 teams times 32 players per team) and baseball (about 14 players per team times 30 teams).

No. Nascab doesn't have any Black racers (bill lester is a part timer in the pick up series) because the fans and the management of the Napcar are good ole boys that don't care for non- white boys racing a car.

Nascar has Bill Lester in the trucks. Wendell Scott raced years ago, and one a race. I've followed racing since the 1960's, and have seen many different people at the races. If you like racing, you like racing it doesn't matter who you are.

Have you ever been to a race? Did you notice the CONFEDERATE FLAGS everywhere? Why would a black driver wan't to subject himself to that? Blacks don't like racing,no one sells malt liquor at the tracks..With the number of incredibly ugly,fat white women at the tracks,you'd think the place would be full of those people,but it's not.Go figure.
