About 100 pints over the last 30 some years.
Just part of being a good citizen I guess. Had to take a break when I had surgery; looking forward to getting back to it soon.

I do donate blood. For every pint of blood donated 3 lifes are saved. I enjoy saving lifes even though I have passed out 2/10 times I've donated... Hey, its still for a good cause.

I donate blood whenever I can for many good reasons.
Whenever I do anything for strangers, I try to imagine myself in their shoes.
What if I was in their shoes and I needed assistance? Would I want people to stop their car if I was in an accident? Would I want people to call the police if I needed help? Would I want people to donate blood for me when mine’s depleting?
Besides, donating blood is healthy for your body too. I don’t know all the scientific reasons behind it…but my pharmacist friend donates blood eagerly whenever he can. He said something about forcing ur body to make a fresh supply of blood and rejuvenating ur supply…I don’t know…but anyhow...donating blood is the least time consuming charitable way to feel better about urself mentally and physically.

i used to donate blood for the same obvious reasons everyone else gave, it saves lives! i stopped because i am sick and can't donate, but hopefully will be cleared to donate again soon. kudos for the social conscious folks out there giving blood regularly. rock out with the donations!! keep 'em coming for us needy people!!

i do but i only donated once! i donate because it saves lives also... and blood donation is actually good for the body... but i passed out when i donated blood because my blood pressure went too low...

I would love to give blood, but I have a ITP which is a blood disease. If I could I would in a minute. So if you can, just think of all the people that you are saving. I only wish I had that opportunity!

I donated until about 1and 1/2 years ago when my veins started to collapse . I've had many surgeries and thought maybe I could help someone else too.

I wish I could but they will not take mine-reason is I am anemic (low on iron) I would like to though if it could help save a life!

I used to do it but later on I reduced and now I haven't for a long time. One of the major reasons - fear of possible unhygienic methods which could be used.
