That's funny...when I look into the eyes of my child, I see eyes.

That is a Beautiful experience. I Still experience this with my 3 children who are 15, 16, and 17. You Do not need to be of any Religion to experience a spiritual experience. After all the First Religions Were based of Nature and Ancestor worship. Then other Gods Goddess and non - gender Deities came about. All through Time this inspired Us as humans to Experience the Spiritual. Even the Newest Religions like Christians and Muslims are inspired by this awesome grace from the eyes of our children. We loose the fear of Death when we know our children have good lives and will be happy. for that is the finniest fulfillment.

In your daughter you see the next generation of your eternal life. You see her sense of the awesomeness of the world, unencumbered by religious teachings and church strictures. You see the love that was at the heart of the teachings of Jesus before the church constructed its theology around it and began its crusades to convert the rest of the world. Try to hold on to that feeling throughout your life and you will live well.

On a less serious note, wait a year and you will see the wrathful, old testament god in your daughter come out. Hell hath no fury like a two year old denied.

How beautiful, seeing God in eyes of child. Would we all realize that we are more alike than different. It would make the world a better place.

...first of all, Christians don't have the corner on God... God is God...not a "religion"... and yes, you can see The Holy Spirit in her life... God is the author or "Life"... try to build a relationship with God at a personal level... you and Him... Get a good translation of His Word (The Bible)... something other then the King James verson......and read the Book of John... or go to Blockbuster and rent the movie, The Book of John... it wonderful and will give you a better understanding of God... it wont hurt you...I promise...

I too have a daughter, and every time I look at her I thank God for the blessings he has given me. It is normal for you to see this when you look into your daughters eyes, miracles are everywhere. But no more apparent to me than in our children.

I agree with you. And it we all thought (and acted) that way, there would be worldwide peace. My first thought was that you don't have to be a christian or go to church to believe in God, whatever 'she' is. I think religion and personal spirituality can be two separate things -- you don't have to subscribe to religion to be spiritual.

I think God will use a lot of things like that to minister to you and express his love for you. The innocence and unconditional love of a sweet child is one of the best things on this earth.

You are using the term "Hell" which is in the Bible. You'll need to read about hell in the Bible and heaven and decide for yourself the requirements. My personal view is that there is only one way to escape Hell, and that is to make a decision to accept eternal life from God by accepting him in to your life.

Very well said; it is just a shame that our very nature for the most part is selfishness, and not love.

When you have love, you have Christ. So you are experiencing the truest form of love. Know that Christ/God loves you more than you are capable of loving your child. Isn't that just wonderful? That the Creator is capable of loving us more than we are capable of loving our own child. And you KNOW how much you Love that beautiful baby.
