one or two. If your having trouble with your bowel movements. too many or none Go see a doctor. Don't wait.There are a number of reasons for strange bowel habits many are easily fixable some are not. Get checked out to be safe. Good luck

To answer your question,the average female has 1-2 bowel movements per day.It can be increased or decreased based on the amount of food consumed,what foods are consumed,and/or gastric problems(ibs,virus's,etc).Good luck hun,and have a good day!
