I was told that I might volunteer at the ER after applying to the volunteer program at a hospital. I'm just wondering what kind of work should I be expecting? I'm a student who has no medical experience or training whatsoever.

If you are volunteering in the Emergency Room, you might expect to be delivering paperwork, picking up things from other areas (like supplies and stuff), helping the front desk with miscellaneous errands, helping to direct visitor traffic, and possibly working as a receptionist in the waiting area.

being a gopher, go for this go for that or mopping up the floors, taking out the nasty gross trash, taking personal infor, babysitting youngsters in waiting room
