Being a Corgi owner myself it was a little bit hard to potty train my pups. They tend to stop and drop with no warning. Best thing is to take them out every couple hours. Also take them out as soon as they are done eatting, right after a nap, in the middle of playing, and any other time that activity changes. Corgi's are very smart and they do get the hint.
Also watch out for chewing. My son went to set in a kitchen chair the other day and fell off it cause Haylee had chewed throw the bottem rung.
They also like to know what is going on at all times with their family. Haylee sits on anything high in the yard so she can keep an eye on all activity going on in the yard. She is really afraid one of the neighbor cats will try to take over her family.
They are very loyal and faithful.
good luck

they usually signal you by whining, barking, hopping. When I was first training the puppies we have had I took 1 entire day and had them go outside every 1/2 hour. Praise given when they went potty. After that they each new to go outside. I might have been lucky but it has worked on the 5 dogs we have had.

One of my dogs starts sniffing around and goes in circles until he finds the perfect spot then..poof he poops. My other dog sniffs around a lot and pretty much walks on his front legs and wa-la a poop. So I guess the common factor here is the sniffing around a lot. My dogs do the same thing everytime..so once you get their routine down you will be able to tell when they are about to go.

U might want to train him. It may take a while, but it's worth it. If he goes in the house, scold him. If u teach him to wait by the door, then give him a treat every time. If u take him for walks every now and then, give him a treat for going. That should carry on for a while, and he'll get used to it.

It's probably easier to just put him outside on a regular basis (about every half hour) and praise him when he does his thing outside.
