Threatening to hurt or kill oneself or talking about wanting to hurt or kill oneself
Looking for ways to kill oneself by seeking access to firearms, pills, or other means
Talking or writing about death, dying, or suicide when these actions are out of the ordinary for the person
Feeling hopeless
Feeling rage or uncontrolled anger or seeking revenge
Acting reckless or engaging in risky activities - seemingly without thinking
Feeling trapped-like there's no way out
Increasing alcohol or drug use
Withdrawing from friends, family, and society
Feeling anxious, agitated, or unable to sleep or sleeping all the time
Experiencing dramatic mood changes
Seeing no reason for living or having no sense of purpose in life
There are two signs that are not usually talked about.
Some people will start giving away their things or making plans for loved ones to help them after they die (kind of like a last will).
Some people when they make the decision to kill themselves will suddenly become very happy, because the decision to end their suffering made them feel empowered and relieved. So, some people will suddenly feel better.
If you think a friend is going to commit suicide, talk to them about it, contact a counselor (if you're in school) and let them know that you want to be supportive.
Good luck!

You can however it may not do you any well. If a man or woman is found to do the soiled deed they're going to do it whether or not you ID it or no longer. You can positioned them in a psych unit for seventy two hours and they are able to be taught the proper solutions with a view to get them out so they are able to do the soiled deed. Yes there are caution indicators however the ones caution indicators do not regularly imply the man or woman is suicidal. Sometimes they're suicidal and not using a caution indicators.

Constantly talking about death. If the person says I THINK ABOUT KILLING MY SELF then you may want to worry. If you hear I want to kill myself you may want to worry, but this is a sign that they don't want to, they want someone to be there for them! Yes they feel like they should just die, but they want help and their asking you for it. Another sign is when they go into hybernation, want nothing to do with others. They will not even talk about how they are really feeling. They try to put on a smile, but it keeps going away.
