Actually, nuclear reactors are the ONLY source that does NOT come from the sun. (including geothermal)

Solar cells, wind generators, wave and thermocline generators, fossilized plants and animals ALL use solar energy in one form or another. So do corn, soy, and 'grassahol' type fuels.

Light/heat/energy radiation coming from the sun to the earth and by solar panels used to generate electricity.
