I have just watched my mum die of cancer and even after watching her go through all the pain i still dont know what the answer is,, when she first found out if she could of killed herself then she would of, then as time went on she was glad for the extra time to say goodbye to all, then things changed again where if i could of i would of helped her to die rather than see her go through all the pain, i believe each person is an individual and not all circumstances are the same so each case should be looked at individually and maybe a short time span for people who are really ill to be able to take in all info and try some how to make sense before making up there mind on such a final desicion..

Euthanasia is legal in the Netherlands, Sweden, and the state of Oregon. I think that Euthanasia should be a legal medical option in this country. People give animals a more merciful death than we give to some human beings. A good "exit" shouldn't be dependent on chance or whatever health condition you happen to be afflicted with. Some diseases (congestive heart failure, AIDS) are truly horrible.
Some people are in excruciating pain, with fleeting moments of consciousness to experience it. They should be allowed to make a choice regarding their demise. People should have control over their bodies. Voluntary and legalized euthanasia in some circumstances is a good ethical and moral position for the terminally ill.
Nobody should have the right to prevent me from having a painless death when the alternative is to suffer needlessly.

I think the already terminally ill should have the right to choose when and how to die. I don't think people should just be able to say that they want to die, and be able to do it legally.

I am in favor of voluntary euthanasia for medical reasons. If your choices are dying quickly and without pain or wasting away from inoperable cancer, I think it is only fair that people receive the choice (although some people that died of inoperable cancer, like Warren Zevon, made the best of the time they had left.) If you have a choice between dying quickly and with your mind, too, or dying from a condition which slowly strips away your mental faculties and your essence of being (like Huntington's), I think the individual should also be offered the choice there.
Note that I am NOT advocating the use of euthanasia in either situation. If you prefer to remain alive with inoperable cancer or Huntington's, you are welcome to make that choice too.

The first and most important gift God gave to Humanity is Free Will. Unless you are harming someone else, no one should interfere with your free will or they are violating God's most sacred trust.
Personally, I believe that you should NOT end your own life (unless you are trying to save others) because how you die is Karma, and you will just have to go through it again if you don't see it through this time. But that is My decision. I can only make that decision for myself, not for you.

If you're talking about suicide, end of life issues etc. we already have the right to choose when we die.

I think not only do we have the right, but that all of us do choose when and how and where and that the why of it is that it is a choice, a free creative choice of whatever you wish to call soul.

I think so, especially in cases of illness or old age.
I watched my aunt suffer the effects of radiation treatments for 15 years. She survived the cancer, but the treatments and pain killed her.
It would have been a kindness to allow her the choice to end her life with dignity.

I don't understand your question! You already do have that option, the only time you don't is if you are banged up in hospital on a life support machine. But that surely is a whole different question.

I firmly believe in euthanasia. When people are struggling with killer diseases like ME, then Yes we should have the right to die.
Not sure about the "way" to die but defo believe it should be OUR choice,
