I can't look at the bigger picture. If they took white collar jobs it would be worse, but many already do.
Besides, I remember what that priest said about the Holocaust, something like, 'when they came for the Jews I was troubled, but I didn't say anything because I wasn't a Jew. When they came for the political dissidents I was alarmed, but didn't say anything because I wasn't a political dissident. When they came for me, there was no one left to say anything...."
I think American workers need to stick together in what is trying to reorganize itself at our expense into a 'globalized' world. Global exchange of thought is good, but we have done quite well with our national trade identities and I see no reason we should abandon them.

I would rather not have illegals taking any type of jobs here in USA. Whether the job be classified as white collar blue collar or minimum wage. By increasing the maount of workers available for all the jobs in the USA this supresses or lowers the asking wage of an american worker. That is why years ago in the 1950's and the 1960's many peoople could work a blue collar job or a low paying job and still raise a family and have the mother be able to stay home and raise a family. A perosn could work in a kitchen of a restaurant and still make a decent wage enough to be able to live on. Every other country protects its citizens jobs by not allowing foreign or illegal workers to come into the country and take jobs while there are citizens of its own country that have no work and are unemployed. Can you imagine Japan allowing 50,000 vietnames refugees to go to japan and take jobs away from the japanes workers and remain in japan against their immigration laws. That is why I would rather not allow "illegal" immigrants to have either type of job. They can only have a job if they came to the shores of this country through the proper rules and regulations. This is how we protect all workers here in America both the native born citizens and the legally authorized immigrants who come here in the proper way to be able to have good jobs that produce a sustainable and living wage.

That's not even a realistic question...you need a good education for most of the white collar jobs and many illegals do not have that....not trying to sound racist but it's the truth

I don't see that as the bigger picture. Most people that are educated and have marketable skills don't have to enter this nation via illegal means.
No illegal alien should have any form of employment in the USA because it is against a federal law and is a felony for any person to hire them. So my answer is neither .

Fast food!!! Because if they are ILLEGAL then most likely they don't have a degree of any type in any such field right? I wouldn't want some illegal person working at a hospital working on my child, its possible if they can obtain some kind of fake ID, SS card, fake diploma, what ever.

Niether one of them.We have people here who need the jobs, not the illegals. If they want a job so badly go get one in your own country!

Neither. I want them to take their kids and their belongings and go home. We don't need millions of extra desperate and poor people here. We have enough desperate and poor Americans to deal with already.

I'd rather that people who were willing to violate the law, be imprisoned in their own countries.
