Almond oil or Olive oil? almond oil smells great.
I know a lot of people swear by both for their hair.

Must admit i have strange hair too lol and I have spent £'s on fancy products. As some one else mentioned the John Frieda Frizz ease serum make my hair weird and no better, the almond and olive oil masks are great but once washed out of my hair I'm back to square one. I swear by the small tubs of Coconut oil I don't put it in the microwave I put a small amount onto the palm of my hand and it melts with your heat. I gently massage it through my hair and I actually leave it on and my hair never goes greasy but be careful don't try that before a big night out as most ppl have to leave it and then wash it out.
My sister had a try but she used way to much and looked like she had her head down in a chip pan :(). It's finding the right amount for you and it was only 99pence to buy so no big loss ( if it didn't work for you , you could always use it on your dry knees or elbows) good luck

Olive oil, put about a teaspoon in damp hair, let it sit for 10 minutes, then wash out. It won't leave you with a bad smell. You can shampoo once or twice, as much as needed to get any excess out.
Sometimes I use olive oil, but most of the time I just use Pantene Relaxed & Natural conditioner after shampooing and leave it on for 5 minutes. It helps control my static, and I don't have a mixed hair type...it's just fine and dry.

my hair is limp biskit lol, its really dry and kinks VERY easily and static too.
its become alot better with coconut oil, by mistake i actually put to much coconut oil in my hair while wet and then dryed, even after drying it was still so oily like a chip pan. i washed it again and then blow dryed it straight away, it did wonders for my hair. it was so soft healthy shiny and no kinks later. and there was no static hairs.
after straightening my hair i use a little dabur amla oil and run it lightly over the ends, it just replenishes the hair.
you should take care of the shampoo you use too, ive tried everything pantene, tresemme, fructus the lot, ive found johnsons baby shampoo is the best, leaves your unbelieveably soft and manageable.

Please don't use hot oil on your hair, it cooks it and does more damage! Try using a protein mask or a deep conditioning treatment like Mark Hill or Lush have one that smells like Chi Tea called H’Suan Wen Hua that I use on my dry frizzy hair. It works wonders.

Coconut oil- it's fantastic. It looks like lard, but melt small amount in microwave + comb it through your hair with wide tooth comb + leave for half an hour, then shampoo.
