Millions of Americans grew up in families where every generation has served & will continue to serve our country. These people never complain or doubt the current administration. They don't find fault and try to divide the people, and never put-down the USA.
They are MORE THAN PROUD to be an AMERICAN.

Twinmomm - well said, you have a great attitude. I applaud you. Let me also take this opportunity, to apoligize for all the young people in this country.
They seem to take a sentence or two from all over the world, link it to who ever is in office and add their complaint. Keep in mind, they will grow up one day & know better. In the meantime, just don't listen.

As a wife of a Marine (for 15 years and counting) who has gone through (no joke) 10 deployments...I can say without a doubt that I fully support our Presidents (all of them) and the administrations. While I may not agree with them, I have to support them. I use my voice by voting.
I feel honored EVERY-TIME I tell people that my husband is a Marine. To me, this way of life is all that I know. I grew up in a military family and married my husband a few years after he joined the military. I am so proud of him and all of our troops. Those who are serving now and those who have served (I don't care if it is 2 years or 30 years).
I also support their families. This isn't a easy life. But neither is being a police officers or firefighters spouse. When people thank me...I blush and say that I'm not the one who needs to be thanked. I do what every other spouse would do in my shoes. We kiss our spouses good-bye and take care of things at home, so that they can go and fight for our freedoms.....the very freedoms which people protest.

Proud to be American and Proud to Serve, That's what all of us should be.
Name another country where people risk their lives ,just to get to.
Another boatload from Haiti,today.
Cubans so often it don't even make the news.
Name another country where you can get on the computer and call the President some of the names people call BUSH
and not get a visit from the authorities.
Try that in the Socialist Paradises.

true! and for the most part, most states and cities in america do! honor the vets in america! we should, however, never!! let what happened at walter reed hospital happen again! the vets just back form iraq that are disabled need special treatment and honor! not!! the shbby treatment they received! reminded me of how the vietnam vets got spit on when they got hime from vietnam!! disgusting, and shameful!! of any human in america who treats vets this way!! people like those pansy college students should be forced!! to do duty in iraq!!let's see how they feel then!

Absolutely... why is this even in question? Military families go through so much! Divorce, behavior problems in children, loss of connection with family members (which could have damaging/permanent effects), etc. Especially, the families of Reservists and National Guardsmen who don't have the same support systems/resources as active duty families... since (I believe) this is a war where the reserve components of our military are being utilized the most in our nation's history of warfare.
I think this is one of those "duh!" questions!

they complain, they gripe, they are HUMAN. lets just stop with the lies and fantasies concerning them ever complaining, they are at times neglected by the govt, run into financial hardships and yes alot of them are not satisfied with the current administration. we should honor these families by thanking them for their endurance. lets just be real
