Have you ever seen a delicate child, say with vim and vigor
"No! I don't like it. I don't want to try it!" - All while knowing that,
that particular and scrumptuos treat has never touched their naive lips...
You say, "You've never had this, it is a special"- As you fight to enlighten the child to it's goodness...
About to give up you say "It's good for you!"
Is all hope out the window?
Do you need force fed?
Are you a stubborn impestuous child, working against yourself,
fighting the goodness in your life?

*Jesus Christ, He is good and good for you!*

Have you ever seen someone say "try this cigarette", or "try this beer", or "Try having sex".

The encouragement of others is a delicate and dangerous thing, for we may be sending them in error down a path they are not destined to travel.

It would be nice to think that religion or belief had a one size fits all, but it doesn't....

Yes yes yes no.

You never, ever force feed a child. They are highly likely to puke all over you and will probably hate the food forever.

The best thing is to eat it yourself, and say how good it is, and let the child want to eat it on their own. They may never, but... it's their body, not yours, and they're ultimately in charge of what goes in it.

This is not me. This does not describe me. I don't believe hope is out the window because I believe in the teachings of the Buddha and Jesus. The goodness in my life is created by me not by hoping that someone (deity) grants it to me.

Is this you? Have I described you? No
Do you need force fed? No because I have tasted and it is the most marvelous taste ever.
Are you a stubborn impestuous child, working against yourself, fighting the goodness in your life?No becaue I have accepted Him into my life, He is the source, the light, the strength that I need to continue on with my life. His suffering has set me free and this has been the saving grace for all.
God bless you always, thanks for the opportunity to spread the Gospel of life.

Forcing things down other people's throats might be part of christian education for children, but with adults it might be not such a good idea. I advise you not to try.

I admire that child. Resisting domination is noble in itself.
We need more people like that.
