According to Chris Rock's if ur single...ur really lonley looking for love & not getting it. He then says if ur married ur miserable & bored. Basically saying single people have fun, great sex, but they really want real love. Then once ur married u get bored, don't get sex the way u did when u were single.

Does anyone agree with this?? Me personally I wanna be married & I promise not to change once I do get him in my powers, lol ;-)

It depends on who you are married too and how much effort you put into your relationship and if you work at keeping your marriage fun and exciting...no single people can be happy as well,,,you dont need a couple to be happy but it is nice...hopefully you will marry your soulmate and with your determination I am sure you will.

There are lots of people out there single and lonely & married and miserable... but those aren't the only two catagories relationships fall into. There are also people who are single and loving it (my sister for example) and there are people (like me) who are married and enjoying it.
Being single doesn't mean you have to be lonely. It's a choice. You're only lonely if you let the intrigue of a relationship consume you. People who are single and loving it do things, they have hobbies. They hang with friends and concentrate on school and work.
On the same token being married doesn't mean you have to be miserable. Again, it's a choice. Marriage is hard; I won't lie. I'm 23 and I've been married for over three years and we have a 14 month old son. It gets hectic and hard sometimes, as with any close relationship. The difference between people who are miserable and people who aren't is that people who are miserable close down their communication with each other and let divorce float around in the back of their thoughts. People who aren't miserable know that marriage is the ultimate relationship filled with compromises and understanding, and they know that you have to put the other person before yourself. It may get exhausting from time to time, but at the end of the day, when you're lying there in the familiar spot with the person you can share anything with, it wouldn't be traded for anything in the world.
It's all about choice. It's all about what we allow ourselves to be consumed by and what how we choose to react to circumstances along the way.

I am married and Happy, yeah some days are miserable..but that is life! But when i was single i was happy and single, it is what you make of life, you can't rely on someone else to make you happy or you will always be miserable, make yourself happy first and then it won't matter whether single or married..you will be happy! As for Sex, you can still have a good sex life, when you get married though it is diffrent you are not trying to impress the other person as much, you love each other reguardless of flaws, and marriage makes you appreciate things more than just the sexual things. Today is 5 months i have been married, and no it is not always exciting as when you are first dating but you get on a new level, there is comfort and happiness, my husband still has me laughing all the time.

I don't agree but you only give two choices. Single and lonely or married and miserable. Life is what you make it. How about married and happy as a third choice?

Relationships change after you get married, but if you love your spouse and he loves you, -- you can work and grow a fabulous relationship that is better than the one you had when you are dating. Marriage takes a lot of work, but it can be the best thing ever. The problem is that most people think once you are married you don't have to do things anymore--like be romantic, go on dates etc. and that is wrong. When you are married you have to do more things to keep things going. If you are both committed, then it gets better and better. So I can tell you that I am married and extremely happy! Good luck!

I am married and I love it. I would definatly prefer to be married with my husband than be single again. Im not saying that marriage is perfect, you are 2 different people, and you are bound to clash. Sometimes you hit rough patches, even with the best of intentions, you just have to work through it and not let it damage how you feel about each other. People let stupid things come between them all the time, which is why they are miserable.

Whether your single, marry, or divorce I think there is always a point where things are good then become bad. Your happy and then sad.....Those are the emotions that bear us alone or in relationships.....Anyone can say how they might be or would be whether if they are single or not but, you really don't know until it happens........

I'm single w/children I never wanted to be married just have kids.So far its been great. Don't have to worry about anybody but my sons and myself. There are very few men out there that are worth the trouble. I seem to borrow one now and again and that's seem to be all that I need. No commitment just fun.

Chris Rock is a comedian. he says things to be funny. I happen to be lucky enough to be married and very happy.

I know you're joking bout the 'powers' thing, but it's not funny. No guy wants a woman to put him under her spell.

I don't agree at all. I am married and happy after 12 years. Sex is still great and I am so happy that I don't have to date someone.
