This is definately an indication to seek veterinary advice. Fresh blood could be a result of obstruction, colitis or some kind of colon irritation. He may have a mass of some description which could be bleeding.
If its dark blood then it is blood from further up in the gut. Eitherway take him to see your vet for a check..
If money is an issue you may have a pdsa, rspca centre locally or you can call the national numbers for veterinary fee's assistance.
Phone for an appointment before he displays signs of ill health.

Animals can get pretty much the same problems as humans : heart attacks, cancer, and the like. You say your pup...I call all dogs pups reguardless of size or age has been bleeding from his bum...he may have hemorrhoids, a type of varicose veins of the bum, human or otherwise. Has he been scooting on the ground or floor? Hemorrhoids tend to itch and might make you think your pup has worms. He also may have inflamed bum glands which may need to be emptied. Have your vet check for these possibilities. If it is the glands, let the vet care for him to start, your pup may need to be given a bit of pain killer so he won't bite if they are really full. An x-ray should be in order as he might have swallowed a safety pin or some other object that is cutting his intestional trac. I would take him to the vet and have it checked out. He hasn't raided the garbage and gotten into small bits of broken or ground up glass has he? Hope this info will help you and the vet locate your pups problem. I used to have a similar breed and was very fond of him....he was half American wolf , and very intelligent . Wishes for the best for you and your pup, hope to hear that you find the problem and get it fixed soon for his sake and your peace of mind. We don't have to live in the same country, Thank God, to be of help to one another, do we? Take care and hope your pup is on the mend soon.

You have no choice but to take him the the vet, as no one on here can diagnose the problem! Don't be scared they'll put him to sleep - for one thing, vets can't do it without your consent. If you're scared your dog will die, he's much more likely to die from LACK of veterinary attention - the longer you wait, the worse you'll make it.
It could just be that your dog is passing some small bones, but since these can cause blockages or perforate the gut and cause infections, again I say - vets!

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles are swollen veins around the anal opening or the anal canal. They can be painful and linger on for a long time causing distress. Fortunately, there are a number of home remedies that are as effective and provides fast relief https://tr.im/yFmkW
The main symptoms include bleeding during the bowel movement and itching. The first thing that people do to cure hemorrhoids is get an OTC medication, without knowing their possible side effects.

You need to take him to a vets now! It could something as simple as colitis, which is very common in german shephereds. This is basically inflammation of the colon, which leads to bloody diarrhoea and weight loss. However, it could be something more serious such as a tumour in the bowel etc, so get him to a vets where they can examine him and do tests if needed.

Dont be so selfish. Get that dog to the vet right now - he's suffering and it may just be that something can be done to relieve his suffering quite easily. This isn't about you - you're responsible for that dog's well being. Buck up and get to the vet. Sorry but I have no sympathy for an irresponsible dog owner.

That's a problem that you'll need to see the vet about.
It's impossible to even think about diagnosing something so serious.. Not sure why you are sitting there allowing him to bleed for 3 days and haven't yet gone to the vet...

Take him to the vet. The only dog I ever knew that bled out of his butt was an abused racing greyhound with Parvo. His stupid owner refused to take him to the vet and just let him suffer.

now,I really do not want to upset you,but you really must take your dog to the vet,
it may be treatable, but if you leave him much longer like this then he may begin to suffer, and die anyway, now you would not really want that on your consience, you sound to be very caring but you really must not be selfish in this, your dog really does need to see a vet, especially as he is losing weight as well,he may just have a blockage, which if caught early is fairly easily treated,
tons of luck with him

Several possibilities, but weight loss is a sinister sign. I'm talking malignancy - cancer.
Or he could have eaten something sharp which has punctured a blood vessel.
He needs urgent veterinary review.
Please go as an urgent appointment, he could deteriorate rapidly.
Best of luck.
