Cardio! You need cardio to burn fat that is on top of the muscle. Also, specific exercises for the obliques, upper abs, lower abs and back.

Exercise will tone your muscles, but if they're under a thick layer of fat, no one will see them! The ONLY way to get a flatter stomach and lose inches is to lose weight. Unfortunately, we don't have any control over where we lose fat on our bodies. Your body decides that on it's own. I lose fat on my stomach, first, and my thighs, last. It's pretty easy for me to get a flat stomach. You might lose weight on your thighs first and your stomach last and it may be harder for you.

I agree with the last answer, you CAN'T spot reduce but Cardio is a really good answer because you need to do Cardio to burn fat which is burned all over your body, so, the more you do, the more fat you'll burn and that will eventually mean your stomach too. Hope this is helpful.

Pilates! i saw results in no time. You should have an instructor that can give you personal attention until you get the techniques down and you will see an even more dramatic result!
