You have to question any beverage that can clean battery acid and corrosion off your car battery.
Other than that, high levels of sugar can lead to weight gain, has been known to cause bloating in some people, and it may be dangerous to those affected by phenylalanine (small children).
On the upside it is delicious!

I can't think of any advantages, other than the fact that I just love the taste. It is full of disadvantages - too much sugar, caffeine, sodium, caramel coloring (that does something bad - I don't recall what the doctor told my grandma), phosphates. They say the phosphates in it will actually remove rust. If you don't know what phosphates are, they are used in detergents. Most soft drinks have them, not just Coke.

One thing it is better for you if your sick than 7up cause it has potassium which is depleted when you vomit and are dehydrated.
