Divorce rates are higher in the bible belt as well, while liberal states like Mass. have the lowests divorce rates.

I thikn that either a Christian or an non christian can commit a crime. It's not that at all!
But what we do have is evidence that there is a Satan. To me, it's exactly where he needs to be in order to lessen the effects of the Gospel in that area.
Think about it, Satan wants to smother the truth, right? If that is true, then where else would he want to do that than where there is a Christian stronghold?
So to me, it means that they are doing something right. They are presenting a strength in faith in God there ( hopefully) and that's where Satan gathers his forces.
It makes sense to me anyway.

Throughout history, Christians were always the most violent people. Remember the Franks, the Byzantines, Crusaders, the Hundred Years' War, the Hussite War, the Thirty Years' War, the annihalation of the Native Americans by the Christian Piligrim Fathers, the Seven Years' War, ...etc?? Hey! And what about WW1 AND WW2?? Was not Hitler killing Gypsies, Jews and Slavs in God's name?!!

You have to remember Jesus chose to start His ministry in the worst area Galilee which was considered a slum and poverty area. That's where God's glory shines in places where people are living in the worst conditions. God does not want churches just in Beverly Hills or Orange county, but where people are hurting, depressed, needy, and where they are willing to accept His salvation. As for why Christians end up in jail, so did the apostles. The apostle Paul wrote most of the New Testament from a prison jain cell. But if you read about Paul's journey while he was under guard, lives were saved to the praise and glory of God. God will allow His people to go to jail, if it will reach a lost soul in the jail or prison.

wow what a bunch of ignorant christian answers. i will be quite honest there is a website that does tell that the crime rates in the bible belt of america is higher and more christians in one place also means higher crime as well.
and for the christian who states that not all churchs are christians you have to realize there are 34,000 sects of christianity out there and well over 2500 in america alone

Sounds ironic. Reminds of of a library I was in years ago where they had music CD's. A librarian told me there was a problem with them getting stolen, and the ones that were getting stolen the most---Gospel and other Christian music.
Here's another Q Chris Rock brought up---"Why do they name streets in high crime areas after Martin L. King Jr."?

Churches don't mean christians. I've found that lots of churches mean smaller congregations whereas less churches mean a larger congregation. Anyway whats happening while all the christians are in church and how can anyone who causes useless violence be a christian?

More churches = More people
More people = Big Cities
Big Cities = More Crime
This statistic has been used as an example of the incompleteness/failure of statistics for many years.

The fact Christians commit more crimes than nonchristians is proof of Satan. Obviously Satan has no reason to induce Atheists to commit crime, they are already going to hell. Satan wants Christians to commit crimes. So the fact Christians commit more crimes is proof of Satan and thus proof Christianity is correct. Besides we Christians will be forgiven for any crimes we commit so it is not really a big deal when we commit crimes. Remember Jesus himself was arrested and executed as a criminal.

Of course, why would satan go and fight the places where he thinks he has already won the battle? Notice I said, "he thinks" he needs to watch his back, there is Someone coming that is Far Greater then he.
