"This Is My God" by Herman Wouk.
"To Life" by Harold Kushner is also an easy read.

"Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris.
He does a wonderful job of CONCISELY explaining what is wrong with religious belief in this country. It's less than 100 pages, I recommend that everyone give it a read. You can do it in one sitting.

Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
A lot of people also really like Orthodoxy by G. K. Chesterton, but between the two, it's a matter of preference for the author's presentation style. I prefer Lewis.

I and thou by Martin Buber is in the ballpark but I am not sure of a single book that would do it all. Also G-d in search of man by Abraham Joshua Heschle is awesome.
Jehuda Halevi's Kuzari is also a good possibility.

No book, just go to a forest and study the life there and make up your own conclusion.
If you really need a book, read some science fiction book.
