find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

Actually, by eating less is helping you keep the weight on. When your body doesn't have enough food to use for energy it will start to store fat for energy. Eat small meals every 3-4 hours for a total of 1500 calories a day. Eating less more often will help increase your metabolism which in turns helps to burn fat. Just walking to places may not be enough. You should set aside at least 30 minutes a day for a workout. If you don't have the time (which is a poor excuse) than increase your speed when you walk.

Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing impurities from your body. You get impurities from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The impurites get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the impurites. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! It's not just exercising. You have to eat healthy too. Only eating one meal a day might push your body into starvation mode, which will make you put weight on. If you eat a balanced diet and keep up the walking, the weight should come off. But remember, it isn't healthy to lose more than 1-2 lbs a week. If you lose more than that, you're losing muscle mass and your at risk to put it all back on.

Good luck!

If you eat small meal or snack several times a day, you will keep your metabolism up. By eating once a day, your body will want to store more of it.
