Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! Brunt orange and ivory is a lovely combination. Halter style gowns for the ladies are always flattering on both the small or larger endowed - skip the strapless...you can accent a burnt orange gown with an ivory sash in a tea length or floor length. If opting for a tea length gown, I've seen bejeweled fancy flip flops (its ok in Sept). The gents can accent their tux with matching burnt orange cravats or tie with ivory floral buttonieres on the lapel. If you want the maid of honor to stand out, you can reverse the colors of the dress and sash. Another option is a sheer or lace burnt orange eyelet over ivory gowns. A two-tone gown (ivory on top, burnt orange on the bottom) can be accented by a matching burnt orange scarf or wrap around the shoulders.

I like the colors, but what colors will the tuxes be? I think black with a burnt ornage will have a Halloween-ish feel. Not every guy can pull off an ivory tux either. Possibly charcoal grey? Chocolate? ANyway, the girls would look nice in ivory dresses with orange accents like a bow or something. Mixed fall boquets with ivory ribbonswould be pretty. Good luck.

Look at some Alfred Angelo gowns. They have a really nice burnt orange color and can have ivory as an accent color. I'd recommend doing the separates, not only will the girls need less alterations, but they have a promotion where you buy the top and get the skirt for $1. My Bridesmaids dresses are only $160 a piece because of this.

Congratulations, my sister's colors for her wedding were burnt orange and mocha...which gave a sophisticated elegant look....she had every other girl wear either burnt orange then the other mocha..it was really pretty. Our flowers were lillies and orchids...but it was a deep burnt orange almost a velvet red...but matched the wedding beautifully. Contrast your colors...her dress was ivory. The guys wore black tuxes with an ivory vest and tie...no burnt orange. It looked awful. The groom wore an ivory tux which matched the brides dress beautifully.
Good luck and congratulations....

Well I really dislike white/ivory suits, not every man can pull them off. Dress the men in black suits with the brnt orange vest and handkerchief in the pocket. Then dress the ladies in brnt orange dresses with an ivory flower in their hair. If you have flower girls let them wear ivory dresses with brnt orange accessories. That should really turn out beautifully. Congrats!

you could do burnt orange dresses or ivory dresses, maybe add a chocolate color in there like for the sash! these colors are beautiful and your wedding will be gorgeous. use apple red in your bouquets and purples like lilac! put guys in black tuxes with the vests! fullback vests that is!

Put the guys in black tuxes with the burnt orange vests (get the full back vest, don't skimp). The girls, you can put them in the burnt orange dresses, but you may have to have someone make them. Not sure if you standard dress shop offers this color.
Good Luck & Congrats!
