Christianity is an unsophisticated religion that relies on scare tactics and "talking points" to herd people into church pews. Only someone that has a superficial knowledge of the religion would consider it to be a legitimate form of spirituality.

If people that claim to be Christian would stop and ask questions about the "new testament", they would find that is contradictory and historical inaccurate.

Christianity is God reaching down to People

All other religions of this world, are people reaching up to God.

There is nothing we can do to enter Heaven, none of us would make it.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

God Loved us so much that he prepared a way for us all to go to Heaven.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world he gave his only Son, to whoever believes in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus died on the cross and paid our debt because we couldn't

So all as we have to do is believe and accept.

I just spent a month in Indonesia, watching fellow Christians, living deep in the Jungle, battling malaria, and other discomforts to bring the Gospel to tribal people who have never heard of Christ.

The last thing I would call them is Lazy.

Someone said that "religion is the opium of the masses." He certainly didn't know much about Judaism! With 613 commandments and many, many obligations toward "others" he could not have included Judaism!

So, yes, Christianity is the lazy man's religion. No need for circumcision, no need to provide rest and renewal on the sabbath, no need to provide courts of law to determine innocence or guilt, no need to make amends for sins, no need to take responsibility for one's own shortcomings, no need to question authority, no need to maintain self-restraint, and the list goes on and on and on!

They must *believe* they are right, not necessarily *do* the right thing. No problem in turning a blind eye to the genocides and atrocities occurring today in the world in which we live.

How do you figure? Christians have been digging the earth for centuries to find artifacts relating to the Biblical story. I think Christians are the most loyal and dedicated to their God.

It is very possible to be a lazy person who believes they are a Christian. But they may very well hear, "away from me, you worker of lawlessness, I never knew you."

It is hard work to be an ambassador of Jesus ... to show His care and kindness.
