Christians, why are you not answering? I'm thinking about a hypothetical other god.

Oppress the people. You have no choice but to obey. That means, no free will to be Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Atheist, Pagan, etc. An evil god would remove your freedom.

First of all God is not an it. Second, He would never do evil. He is not a mean God. He is the creator of everything and punishing someone is different from being evil. Just because you are grounded by you parents does not mean that your parents are evil.

why would Christians answer this? our GOd is not evil. He loves us SO much and cares for us and watches over us. He sent His only Son to die for us because He loves us so much and wanted us to be with Him forever. only Satan is evil. God cannot do evil-He just can't., He's so perfect and so pure that evil is not something He can do. Satan is all evil. But he's a fallen angel-not a god so yeah

GOD is not an it. GOD is a higher power that makes all the love and patients towards others. there is no such thing as evil god there are evil human beings, those humans the LOVING GOD gave them free will as he did with all of us , but they choose the evil way.

There is an evil god, and he does Exist. The name of him is called Lucifer, Belzibub, the Devil. and no one needs to look any further than to what is going on in the world right now. Look at all the war in the world, see what is happening to those who fight these wars, look at what happens to peple who deal in and /or partakes of illicit drugs.
I dont have to imagine any of this. I see what is happening now, and I am glad I am a follower of God, He who is a gentle God and who helps me through each day. I know the day is coming when everyone will live in harmony with their neighbors.

An evil one does exist.
His name is Satan, also referred to as "the god of this age", etc. in the Bible.
Look around at all the wickedness in the world, and there is your description of what he does.

Probably they'll tell you that an evil god would promote knowledge and atheism.
At least that's what their "all-good-God" intended to prevent humans from achieving.

I know what he would do.
He would create earthquakes that killed over 100,000 people during christmas time.
Or maybe he would allow a school of 300 children to get hijacked ending in the majority of them being shot....
Why would bad things happen to good people?

Well, Let's see. Rape, murder, sin, killing, incest, molestation, crime, war, disease did not exist until Satan came into the story. hmm? Sounds like I found the evil God.
