Humour is spelled humor in America, like colour is spelled colur. There's no need for you to mock them, because it's their language they are using, not yours.
Bet there are a lot of words you don't know how to spell their way!

Just because we spell humor differently does not mean that we are thick. What is the use of the u in spelling humour this way? It looks as if you Brits over there are they ones who cannot spell. We spell several of our words differently so get over it. By the way, I think it sounds retarded to say someone is thick. Sounds as you have a lisp. Is this the way you spell speak, speek? By the way, I'm English by my ancestory, and England was so bloody oppressed, my great-grandfather had to take his family and leave there to survive.
To those who gave me a thumbs down, what country came to England's aid to help put your country back together after World War II? You didn't have a pot to p i ss in until the U.S. helped England rebuild your country after the bombings. How quickly you forget.

It's only the beginning since we lowered
the standard of recruiting into the armed forces.Now,42 years old can sign in just
to get the fat bonus they offer,no more
criminal records check,U.S.citizenship is
not required, and high school diploma is
no longer needed...as we all know, one
bad apple can affect the whole bunch.

Why don't you just open up your tiny little mind and let some daylight illuminate the cave paintings in there?
By the way, I'm not American. I wonder what sort of razor sharp wit you'd use on my people?

It's not called being thick. It's called differences in language from one country to the next.
In G.B. they use the "ou" instead of the "o" in many words. It doesn't mean that they're thick... It means that they spell it differently.
For example:
Favorite or Favourite
Color or Colour
Humor or Humour
Behavior or Behaviour
There's nothing wrong with that. It's a matter of culture & society & how they choose to do things. It's got nothing to do with being thick.
I think that you are the thick one. Thinking your way of spelling/speaking is the only right way. How arrogant you must be.

Well, my friend, I agree that far too many on here do not spell correctly. That being said, in American english, we properly spell humor without the "u". And, the "a" in Americans should be capitalized, since we are being picky.

You ever noticed that the Americans never attack the Brits etc. about their English? I suppose since our English is the one that dominates the world there is no need to try to belittle others. How much smaller can they get?
