While searching information on Yahoo! today about X-rays I came across a website with detailed instructions on building bombs and how to kill cops and how to make liquid explosives. Should I report this information to my local police? Or leave it?

I'm sure Homeland Security is already aware of those sites and they inform all the government office which relay that information to police, fire, hospitals etc. However, it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and inform them yourself.

Most states now have a section that investigates internet crimes. They might be interested and actually do something if this is even illegal. You'd be surprised at what can be legally posted on the internet! The local police probably do not have any interest in pursueing things like this.

Most police stations actually have an Internet task force for this and other potentially dangerous and risky material. Call the non emergency number and ask if there is an email you can forward the link to or to speak to the department that deals with Internet safety. Thank you for being so caring!

it particularly is frequently a toughie. I noted by using fact the cops on a combat that grow to be happening as quickly as, and oddly sufficient the cops referred to as me lower back later that night to tell me what got here approximately and why they have been battling. THat scared me to dying by using undeniable fact that I felt that in the event that they counseled me approximately it then did they tell them who referred to as. on the different hand they conflict grow to be broken up and it grew to grow to be out one guy was once attempting to molest the 14 year historic. This grow to be as quickly as in New Zealand so it oftentimes is staggering there on how the police artwork. i think that finally you should do what's suitable and atleast you should assert you in all probability did the outstanding ingredient and which you purely have been maximum effective attempting to assist.

I would inform them.

But don't be too upset if they don't take you too seriously, they probably get a lot of this.

Inform them anyway, that way you can feel as if you tried to do the right thing.
