i don't see why not! the bad thing is regular situps (so some experts say) but i've not heard anything bad about crunches; if you've got a bad back, you might want to take it easy or use a machine, that's all i can think of.

You can perform Stomach crunches everyday. Your rectus abdominous is a high endurance muscle group. They keep you upright, and keep your hips level and square. It is important to remember not to always do the same crunches, very it alittle bit. Your muscles can become some what immune to the same excercise over and over. Try different things, leg raises, crunches, medicine ball crunches, all that stuff.

You can - depending on how hard you are working them. You should do an ab routine that consists of more than just crunches. In a complete routine you want to work the obliques, upper and lower abs. I do a full routine for 20 minutes 3 times a week.

thats really a personal preference.the good thing about abs are you can work them out every day,but if you feel too sore you should give them a break.dont stick to just stomach crunches (there not the best exercise anyway) .remember you have lower, upper, and oblices to worry about .try to mix it up to keep your body guessing for the best results, also abdominal exercises wont really give you a flat stomach they tone and sculpt your core section.if you are trying to loss belly fat you have to do some arobics.

I believe that this question depends on your age.
If you are relatively young, you could possibly try doing them everyday. However, if you are perhaps in your late 40s or so, then it is better to do it less often, so that the strain is less.

the abdominals need rest just like every other muscle group. exercising them more frequently won't get you to a six-pack any quicker if the body fat is not being reduced. abdominal training has no effect on fat loss.
