anyone on here is an anointed Christian and I am afraid I don't know what it means.

All born again Christians are anointed with the Holy Spirit when they're saved. Asking whether a person is anointed is really a way of inquiring whether a person is born again or not.

Normally anointing refers to being blessed using oil. However, in 1. John 2:20 it says:"But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things."
There is a Anointed Christian Ministry and I'm not sure what they are about, but the bible does not say one has to be anointed with oil in order to be saved. I think this practice, although biblical, has been applied in only some religions.
As I understand it every saved believer is a saint and anointed (filled) with the Holy Spirit).

An anointed Christian is someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior. Also they have received the inner filling of the Holy Spirit. However, being anointed is not just saved, but it is being able to walk in the power of Jesus Christ as He walked in the earth. When you are anointed you have the power to be free from the power of sin. Moreover, you can do the very same things that Jesus did. Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons,raised the dead and did the supernatural. Of course, there are some Christians who will read this and disagree because they have not been taught that they can be just like Jesus in the earth. But John 14:12-14 says, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, whosoever believeth on me, the very works that I do, shall he do also. And greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto the Father". A anointed Christian will do the same things that Jesus did in the earth. Also, Read Mark 16:15 -18

That means a Christian that have a relationship with God so close, that sometimes you can tell it just by looking at them. You most of the time find this anointing with a Christan that preach the Gospel. You know when you heard someone preaching and it's like the words out of their mouth hits you spirit (The inner you), that's the anointing.

Anointed is "set apart" for a specific purpose. God can anoint you to do some type of ministry, or for another purpose. You can anoint your house, your body, anything that's yours, for God. You just pray and declare that the space is to be for God, and ceremonially place oil on the doorframes and windows (many Christians do this in their homes and workspaces.)

anointing is to bless and seperate for use. In my opinion all Christians are annointed.
