I personally don't like it. When your hair is brighter than your skin, it just looks weird. Like a platinum blonde really tanned white person still looks odd.

It all depends on the hair style and complextion. It looks nice on Beyonce or Faith Evans but not Little Kim. Some black people have naturally honey blond hair so actually black hair color can be naturally blond ie. Vanessa Williams and I've known quite a few personally (who are not biracial actually, like Ms. Williams) with the natural honey blond hair color. It's not common but it exist!

When you look at people like Beyonce', Mary J. Blige, Christina Milian, Jennifer Lopez (even though the last 2 are hispanic), I think they make it look good MOST of the time. Too blonde looks bad on anyone, no matter what race/ color you are. I think as long as the shade and tone of blonde looks good on you, its fine. I personally know a few black people who are of mixed race and they have blonde hair just like any white person with blonde hair. It's all in genetics.

I'm a black woman and sometimes when I see other black women with blonde hair I don't like it. If they are lighter in complexion then the lighter blondes look nice, if they are brown skinned like myself, then the darker blondes look nice, but anything after that just looks tacky. But thats just my opinion. I personally don't wear blonde hair. The lightest I have gone is a 4, I would like to try a little lighter, but not blonde. Then also, the wearer would have to know how to wear it. You have to come with the whole package. Your wardrobe needs to reflect your hair color.

To me, an African American going blonde would be kind of like myself trying something that doesn't look natural....a strawberry blonde or something. Personally, I like it to be a color in my spectrum. I am naturally a brunette and I dye it to be a little darker with a slight auburn tint. Due to my dark eyebrows and pale skin, blonde or anything bright reddish would look a little garish. I think that it is okay, as long as you don't mind people knowing it isn't natural. I personally like the idea of a few honey tones put into their hair. Kind of like Beyonce? It brightens up the face, but it does not look outlandish.

It can be very attractive. I think it is a individual preference and if the person is comfortable with it then its great. Actually there is no different than a Caucasian that is naturally blonde dying her hair jet black. I see nothing wrong with it, if one feels good and confidant about themself's then go for it.

It depends on the skintone. I'm black but I know for a fact that blonde won't look good on me. My skintone is a light brown so I just stick to the browns & sometime brownish reddish colors. My friend colored her hair a honey blonde & it looks real good on her. It looks natural because she's light. But when people color their hair it depends on how they look but mostly their skintones. For example, some people shouldn't dye their hair black. Alot of people are doing that at my school & on most of them it doesn't look good on them. But people should be careful in hair colors they choose anyways. Doesn't matter what race. Some Caucasian girls dye their hair blonde & sometimes it doesn't look good on all of them. So African Americans, Caucasian, Hispanics, Asians, & the list goes on. Blonde doesn't look good on everybody it doesn't matter what race you are.

MELANESIAN BLONDES... they are black those with blonde hair. the respond on your question: specific. If Beyonce can do it, you're able to do it too. With the help of stable bleaching products and hair restoration treatments, you may turn from black to platinum blonde. I advise you utilize a 40 vol. creme developer to quicken the result to ward off the black roots. and then observed via a crimson toner. stable success!

Some whites hair color is not naturally blonde either, but ANYONE dying their hair should do it well, no matter what the hair or skin color is. All hair colors don't fit all people.

I'm not a big fan of blonde hair period. I think that the burgandy colors look good on black women, though. :)
