You know, you're their world one week--they're all about how wonderful they think you are--and the next week, it's cold shoulder time, and when you ask them if they still love you, they shrug and say 'we need some time.' How can things change so quickly when nothing major happened?

When it comes to love some people freak themselves out. Sometimes that happens if a person is feeling like they are getting too close too fast or if they come from a broken home or had prior bad experiences. What you have to do is communicate with them during their good mood about it. Don't pressure them but let them know you notice the change and want to know what it's about. If they don't want to talk about it at the time, let them know you are available when they are ready and drop it.

Get used to it. I tend to think that's a good sign in terms of there are real feelings involved, strong feelings, that the other person has to get used to and become okay with, but it does suck when you never know why they have seemingly changed their mind in a 180 degree fashion. It's confusion, insecurity, uncertainty, poor self-esteem, etc., manifesting itself. Try not to take it personally and if you start, evaluate how important this person is to you.

i wish i knew so that i could share it with you. sometimes things are just no meant to be. you ever think that someone who spontaeously gets disinterested is really a bad choice and it's like natures way of telling you? i sometimes try to form my own theories but who really knows.
