If your asthma has been stable for a number of years, a medical waiver is possible. Whatever you do, do NOT lie to enlist. It's a serious felony to lie to get into the military.

I know a few people with asthma that served with me overseas. A few had inhalers. Your recruiter should be able to see if you can and if it is just a matter of not being able to do a certain MOS.

Your asthma has to be in control. No inhalers. I just got out of the military and I hac asthma. But I had it under control.

Yes you can, it's really simple, you tell them you don't have asthma. If you want to join the military this shouldn't be a problem.

If you have it, you should know that it's spelled asthma, and that would be up to the physician who conducts your entrance physical, but they do look for people with some education.

Maybe.

Your biggest problem might be, however, passing the ASVAB not knowing how to spell asthma.

Most likely no, if you have a condition that would prohibit you from performing your duties then most likely you would not be accepted
