you and your honey can go to a photo booth, and make four signs, saying :
"save"
"the"
"date"
"date of wedding"
hold one sign up for each pic.
then take it home, scan it, and print them out yourself!
putting it on a magnet would make it extra fun.

I sent out my save the dates a few weeks ago.
We're doing a destination wedding, so I just put the the date and about the trip.
I've seen cute ideas where they have the calendar month you're getting married in and have the date circled on it.
The magnet idea is cute too.
You can also get sticker paper at any local office supply store. And make a sticker to attach in the save the day, so they can put it on their calendar.
Send a message in a bottle.
I attached a website link to a free website we created. (weddingbells.ca, has some good ones)
Have fun making them!

You can do the usual magnets or perhaps your own postcards with a pics. Maybe make your own "savings" bank statement and send those out with a save the date -- tape a penny to the notice.

Take a pic of your selves.....and make your own magnets....
Buy the magnets from Michaels or a craft store and all you have to do is print out the pics n a 12 batch and cut and stick....and BOOM your beautiful magnets are good to go!
Also be sure to include on the pics....save the date!!(along with the names, date, ect)
They are really beautiful and inexpensive plus you have the joy of saying you did them yourself!!!
Good luck to u! HAPPY MARRIAGE LIFE!!!!! Its awesome!

DIY postcards. You can print out the picture on the front and the message on the inside.

There is this website called Vista Print and they have specials that are so darn cheap. 25 magnets shipped for $5.50 - 100 color postcards shipped for $5.00. You really can't beat it. And you can upload your own picture to use too.....
