I don't get some of these people. Yes, logically--if the story is true--that would be an accurate description of his person. The word means what it means, no matter how derogatory we have made it over the thousands of years of linguistic evolution. There are really no other words for it, so certainly Jesus is the bastard son of Mary and God. I do not really think this should be seen as blasphemous, I don't see how it could be. I think Jesus would be delighted to be acknowledged as the bastard son of Mary and God, because that implies belief in God, and in his divinity. Words are words, people. Your minds are wired all wrong; it's like you see a negative word and automatically assume all negative--like reflexively. Meditate, Christians, expand your presence and awareness and allow yourself to see reality for what it is, rather than just compiling data into right and wrong, good and bad categories.

yes it would, you're an idiot. She was a virgin, so therefore your're "cute" little remark makes no sense.

By the way do you even know what B@st@rd means? It means no father---and Jesus was the son of God. It doesn't mean that the two were never married. YOu know you should really be careful about what you say, I don't appreciate coments like that, and i especailly don't appreciate you using Yahoo! Answers to ask such a ridiculous question. You should ask for forgiveness on that one. I will pray for you.

Worse then that, Mary was a married woman. OH damn, not looking good for God and Mary.

But as Bush likes say,
"why clutter the truth up with facts?"

Only he can't put it as eloquently as that, or spell it for that matter.

Marriage is an institution of God. Thus, God is not held to its laws.
Bastard refers to someone born without that institution.

Therefore, Jesus is not a b@st@rd, as you put it.

it would be very silly mary gave her consent and what is marraig an agreement between to people to live as on and raise children. God was not a man but had chosen Joseph to be father to Jesus.

yes it is wrong to refer to him as that.... It was part of God's plan to give Jesus an earthly life and so he sent the the Angel Gabriel (I believe to let her know that she had a very special calling). God doesnt make mistakes....

NO. Jesus was Word made flesh the way the Bible told about it before hand. Your question is very perverted way to think about your God. : )

It would be wrong on two counts first it is insulting to Christians and secondly it isn't true (G-d does not mate with humans unless the god you are talking about is Zeus)

Anything born through the Holy Spirit is perfect.......human reasoning & logic doesnt cut it. Jesus grew up with an earthly father...Joseph...... God's plan was perfect.........<>< <><

Why would you goad Christians? If you were confident in your beliefs you wouldn't lash out at me for mine. I know it's a lot of fun to try and offend people but how immature can you get? Move out of mom's basement and get a job.
