The donuts tasted like old to me. After a fundraiser with her group was trying to sell them in the college, she came home with the 10 boxes. So I helped to buy 4 dozens of the donuts for myself.

I don't think donuts are much good after one day

Assuming you are talking about plain glazed donuts....although they are actually edible for quite a while, the sugar glaze starts breaking down after a couple of hours and they just don't taste as good. By the next day they're usually past their prime and fairly stale.

As long as they taste good to you, they are fine. There is so much sugar in donuts that it will take quite a while for them to turn. They can however get hard and chewy after a while.

Next time throw the extras into the freezer for a later time. Let them thaw at room temperature unless there is no kind of glaze or frosting on them. (Even powdered sugar will melt if heated.)

They may be alright, as long as they aren't green. They may be hard, so dunk them in coffee and they will still taste OK.
