stop using the neosporin. Just wash it once when you wake up and once before you go to bed. Use antimicrobial soap and stop using the bactine. I remember mine got a little red, too. Also stop touching it. Keep your hands away from it. Don't twist it, or poke your belly button or anything. Just let it be. And, were you peirced with a ring or a bar? The bar will heal much quicker than the ring, so go back to where you peirced it and ask them if they can switch.

continue using antibacterial soap, but slow down on the bactine and neosporin. too much bactine can actually necrose the skin around the piercing site. Clean it once in the evening and once at night, and after swimming or any sports where you may sweat.
I used to put a small drop of vitamin e oil on mine before twisting it through. that seemed to speed the healing. For some reason, navel piercings take longer to heal.
If it continues to be red, hot, or starts to ooze, then see a doc, k?

Could be just healing and scabbing. I do know several people that have had the rings fall out because the tissue between the piercing and the edge of the navel died and it just popped right through the dead skin. Keep it clean like you have been and watch it. Go back to the piercer if you think there is something wrong.

it's probably healing. It takes 6 weeks to heal and should be gone by then. If its not it could be a infection and you can use saltwater in the morning and evening that should take care of it!!!!

well if your doing all that, it is probably healing. But question to ask yourself: is the area hot? thats a sign of infection. Is the area filled with puss? thats another sign of infection. just to be on the safe side go to doctor

It's healing....if it has no discharge or it is not to sensitive to the touch (like hurts when you lightly touch it) it is not infected. Keep up what your doing...it should start to feel better in a few days.

Wash the area twice per day with salty water.

It will itch when its healing up. But one problem is overcleaning. You have to allow it to just heal. Clean it when you get up & when you go to bed. Clean it in between only if its getting crusty & bothersome. Overcleaning can irritate it & delay the healing process.

You probably have an infection. Have it taken care of by a
doctor. Be careful. Infections like these can cause your belly-
button to fall off.

It sounds as if it is infected. I would have a doctor check it out to be safe.
