I feel like the correct question should be how to know the right or correct or true church.
The bible says one lord one baptism,
It also says :
he who does not eat my body and drink my blood will have no share with me
It also says:
My body is food indeed & my blood is drink indeed -John Chapter 6 vs53-56
So how can we find the true church that follows the teachings as Jesus and the apostles taught it?
The bible tells us to search the books.
Unity of the church does not mean following a human leader
We have many countries in the world , people have different cultures & speak different languages.
It is having ONE faith. Same dogma
Also one church does not mean one size fits all religion...this is not a correct analogy as we all are at different spiritual levels and we are supposed to grow to be as holy as God.
Jesus tells us that we are the tem;ple of God & the holy Spirit dwells in us
I can go on & on but I shall stop here..hoping that I provided some thought for deeper thinking in the matter.
God bless you all.

The longer people have to develop the notion that "their" Church is the only right one, the less hope there is for togetherness.
Who would willingly give up their habits and devotions in order to have just one church? Especially one that may not include things they were accustomed to and have loved from childhood on.

Sure, with God, anything is possible, but I doubt it will be a Catholic type Church, its beliefs and affects are very negative. Jesus died because of sin not for sin. Think it through, if such a action were possible, God would then be a servant of man, and thats what an Anti-Christ would want.

Yikes, now that is a terrifying thought.
They only thing that keeps Christians at bay now is their dissension. If they found a way to unite, then their beliefs would become mandatory in many countries and we would fall back into the dark ages.

Not only possible but a matter of prophecy. Scripture says they will be unified under the wrong head; God having spit them out of his mouth.

The body of Christ is already one church. Many parts, but one Lord. They don't need to be under one human leader. :-)

There is NO 'one size fits all' in religion. It addresses the unique and individual character of those who attend religion.

They really should get their sh*t straight before they attempt to confront atheists.
Of course if they did unite we would have a horrible tyranny imposed by them.
