I know this may seem crazy but try meditation. Really commit yourself to it and allow yourself to escape from the world every once and a while for 15 minutes a day. Focus on your deep breathing and possibly God while you meditate. I am still working on this myself and hey I'm only 18.

What has really worked for me though is self-hypnosis. I made my own mp3 file that is design to make me feel more confident, relaxed, and in control of my life. If you can find a sample of self hynosis anywhere (search engine?) you should be able to write your own and then say it slowly into a microphone recorder. Do not listen to this right before bed even though you must get relaxed to absorb it all. It is designed to leave you feeling semi-energetic and in control of your life. I can never get to sleep right after I listen to it.

If you want me to help you with the self hypnosis you might email me and I might write you one if I have the time but you have to tell me what causes you the most stress and other things.

Actually the other week i saw my therepist and she had given me some great tips:

sit in a chair and let you arms legs and whole body just sink in and let loose.
take a deep breath and concentrate on what if feels like when you breath in (through your nose) is the air cooler or warmer. Then when you breath out concentrate of letting you body sink in to every exhale.
do this when you start to get overwhelmed.

It helps, I have been doing it for two weeks now. I do it right before I pick my kids up from school cause they always pound me with stuff. I also do it at lunch time at work.

I with ya, so stay in there.

I play racketball whan I get really stressed. I get so tired & involved with hitting the ball, that I don't care about all the other crap!

A friend used to tell me all the time...."Don't sweat the small stuff!" and "It's ALL small stuff"

I try to remember this & it usually works when I can't get to the courts.

you may sense slightly extra valuable in case you drink sufficient water and get sufficient sleep. it truly is what maximum do not do. I also imagine (i understand you do not opt for to take drugs) that antidepressants usually can artwork extra valuable than antianxiety drugs. particular ingredients can calm you down, yet those are different for various human beings. i like cran-grape juice. i come across tomato sauce could usually be prevented interior the nighttime. I also bite gum. some opt for to workout and meditate, yet you opt for to adhere to a common to have it artwork. some attempt fragrance.

I just let it roll off. My father said to my mom one day when she was all pissed off about something,"So, on your tombstone you want 'I died cause I burnt the toast' or 'I died because the toast is burnt'. basically saying its all petty crap and nothing to die over.
