The Hebrew is alef-hey-resh--vav-nun, A'haron. The aspirate ('h') gets dropped in transliteration to English/Latin characters and the name is shortened to two syllables.

English tends to do that.

The book of life is alphabetical. Names with two a's will be listed before names with only one a, like Adam. Triple a (AAA) has been doing for years, in the yellow pages.

Because of the pronunciation? Sometimes people call it 'air' 'ron' maybe thats why?

because if it has only 1 'a', it'll pronounced uh-ron.. so that's y it has 2 'a's so ppl will pronounce it ay-ron
