my ex and i still are friends...but i still like her and i just cant get over it...how do i get over it?

it takes time it's not something that is done over night. think about it like this.

you have an extended amount of feelings for your ex, and this makes you two good friends not only because the feelings but because you two know eachother very well. take advantage of this friendship. the feelings may not be forgotten and in some cases can grow. dont' force yourself to get over her, just enjoy the friendship and keep your head up while looking for another girl.

You probably should not be in contact with her for a couple of months so you can at least get over her. Once you start dating someone else it is a lot easier to be over an ex.

Honetly, being around you're ex and still having feelings for her isn't a good ideaa. The easiest way to get over someone is to stop being in contact with her and finding someone new.

Make some new friends. Get out there and start seeing other people.

you may never be able to. you may be able to control yourself but may never get over it. i never did. haven't seen him in 2 yrs. now but i still wonder, miss and think of him. you are going to have dig deep inside of you to control what you feeling or find out if you can react on those emotions instead of reject them.
