They are similar but yet different. Pepsi taste sweeter and less gassy. Coke is more "heavy" and more of a thirst quencher.
I go for Coke if I am thirsty after a sport activity eg running, squash, golf etc. However Pepsi will be good for me for a sit down meal.
So which is better ? It depends.

Anyone remember the Pepsi Challenge that showed Pepsi tastes better than Coke? Then, Coke did it's own independant tests and found the same thing - prompting "New Coke." The publc went crazy wanting their "old coke" back. Why? Pepsi taste better in small doses but for a long sitting Coke is the choice of the public. The sweetness in Pepsi gets to people after an entire liter.
For me, it's Dr. Pepper anyway.

I think they both taste good. I am not a big soda drinker but when I do have them I find Pepsi tastes better out of a glass bottle and Coke is better from a can. But thats just me.
Did you know before all is done that Coke startes off green in color.
