How long does it take to receive an E-mail confirmation after you book your plane tickets online. I have been waiting 48 hours...the seats are reserved on the plane when I check the general seating but I still have not received a confirmaiton. Thanks!!!!

It could take a day or two, but that's rare. Call Delta customer service. This link shows the proper number for your country of origin.(http://www.delta.com/help/contact_us/reservations/index.jsp)

I usually get my e-mail confirmation immediately. However, as long as your itenerary on their website shows the flights are confirmed, you are confirmed.

It should be like right away. It took about 24 hours to get mine.
