i have a friend and we've been friend for quite some time. she has a serious problem that might lead to suicide. Her name is alisha and she has a serious depression problem. everytime i ask her about she'll always say that it nothing really. she believe in being sad or angry for no apparent reason, because she has no reason. and to top it off she also says that she don't know who she is. to find out who she is she'll have to hurt herself to get answers. by destroying her bad side the one she dislikes, she become her self again. i've talk to her about this and it seem so weird. i've even told her to get help. she did get help, but she still going through the same process. i don't think she tried to help herself. Alisha even hates being happy, she'll have to constantly put on a smile every one could leave her alone, but she's still hurting in the inside. she does wants some help, but keeps turning it down because another part of her wants to keep hurting herself.

I work in a mental health facility, and I would say encourage her to seek help at a local facility. If she's beyond that and still cannot get over these feelings, maybe she should check into a inpatient facility to help her deal.

Keep encouraging her to stick with the therapy, keep her around people who can help bring her spirits up. Talk with your other friends and her family and keep giving her as much love and support as you can. It's a world that is full of opportunity and she needs to see it that way.
