No need to poison the birds. Go to a large home improvement store like Home Depot or even a hardware store. Ask for bird repellent. It's a sticky gel that you can place on your window sill or even on top of your air conditioner if you have a window unit.

This stuff won't harm the birds, it will however give them the sensation that their feet are burning, and trust me, they will not come back.

I only have to reapply this stuff every couple of years, because the birds were driving me nuts. I found it when I worked the night shift and had to sleep during the day.

Give it a try, it works like a charm and the birds don't get hurt. Good luck.

Are you really serious? What is your problem? Killing birds because you can't sleep late? Get the poison out your brain and become a kind human being and a nature lover. You need therapy. That would be something I would like to see..Hope the birds get the message about how mean you are and find another window to hang out on...Whew!

Surround your yard with bird tape - the kind the farmers use around their planting fields. it makes a horrible sound when the wind blows that scares the birds away.
For the love of god, don't poison innocent creatures. You've obviously pi$sed off plenty of people with this question. Happy now?

No, there will always be birds. Get some ear mufflers and wear them when you go to bed, Bose has some good ones.
Birds are beautiful. If you go deaf, you'll wish you could hear the birds singing again. I love to hear them sing early in the morning.

Yes there is a great poison to get rid of them.

You'll need to go to your local Department of Fish and Wildlife and tell the person in charge exactly what you want to do..

They'll take real good care of you!

I guarantee you won't hear any more chirping in the mornings.

Good luck.

scare them away.

take a regular water bottle and fill it with about 1/4 cup of "The Works" toilet bowl cleaner. Then loosely roll up about 3 - 4 inches of alluminum foil and place it in the bottle. screw on the cap tightly. shake the bottle up to coat the foil with the cleaner. throw it under the tree that has the birds.

in about two minutes the bottle will explode with a huge boom and scare them away. Works every time!!

I say try go to sleep earlier, unless you work late. Birds are beautiful creatures and I think it is very cruel to want to kill them. How would you like it if someone didn't want to hear you and gave you poison!

Get ear plugs. :) They have the right to sing, like you have the right to sleep. If ther is a tree righ next to your window then maybe you might want to trim it or move it some where else if thats posable.

My Mother always told us, if you kill a songbird, the Devil will scratch on your bed at night. So which do you want, birds singing in the morning, or the Devil scratching on your bed at night?
